See you at our next fair on Saturday 29th August 2026

We had a brilliant fair on Saturday 4 June which was our 1st Anniversary special.

Dealers came from far and wide to sell an assortment of furniture, fashion, homeware and accessories.  Fabulous fashion items went flying out the door by the bagful.

With a great amount of PR coverage the week before the fair we were flat out organising three photo shoots for local newspapers. Our Jive and Lindy Hop dancers Jerome and Lindsay donned their vintage attire and happily posed with all manner of dance moves

We were featured in, amongst others London’s Time Out Magazine, the Vintage Guide to London and the fabulous Emerald Street newsletter from Stylist Magazine which all attracted a great number of shoppers. If you are not already signed up to the newsletters from the Vintage Guide to London which keeps you abreast of everything hip, hop and happening in the Vintage world then you’re missing out on some great nuggets of information.

Similarly Emerald Street which only writes about things they like, covers beauty, fashion, things to do and careers – with lots of fashionable illustrations and a great weekend guide.

Doreen our very own London East End Pearly Queen dropped by for a quick chat and succumbed to buying another brooch to add to her jacket.

Nicky Albrechtsen was signing her new book by Thames and Hudson – SCARVES a fantastic source book for all vintage scarf collectors, designers, artists and pattern addicts; with over 250 full-colour images of scarves from the Art Deco period to 1950’s Hollywood, the Swinging Sixties and beyond…..

Proud to say that around 10 of my scarves from my rather large (and growing) collection made it into the book – you can buy it on Amazon

And at 12.30pm Jerome and Lindsey took to the floor and provided a delightful toe tapping showcase of their fabulous Jive and Lindy Hop.  But don’t take our word – read The Needle Diaries Blog when Sofia visited our fair.

Jerome has performed for audiences in the UK, Europe and Japan, and now teaches professionally in London and the home counties, specialising in Lindy Hop, Jive and Charleston. He currently offers classes in Walthamstow, London.  Check www.jeromelanderson.com for details.

Thank you to all those who made it down and purchased lots of goodies – I’ll just leave you with some lovely images of the day.
