Vintage guru Nicky Albrechtsen will be signing the fabulous SCARVES book she co-wrote with costume designer and vintage queen Fola Solanke, a recent stall holder at the Wanstead Vintage Fashion & Brocante Fair. Published by Thames & Hudson, Scarves is a fantastic source book for all vintage scarf collectors, designers, artists and pattern addicts; with over 250 full-colour images of scarves from the Art Deco period to 1950’s Hollywood, the Swinging Sixties and beyond. 1950’s JIVE & LINDY HOP

And make sure you’re at the fair to see Jive and Lindy Hop teacher Jerome Anderson, and his partner Lindsay who will be stepping back in time to the fabulous 50’s, the age of big band swing and rock and roll. Using authentic music from the period, they will be performing fast paced kicks, flicks and spin dance moves. Come and see them dance in the new ‘old fashioned’ way!
