Look at these fab prints coming to the fair in Wanstead on 6th September with Robert & Marie from Black Sheep Antiques. They are offering 50% off on some of their summer dresses so be sure to visit their stall.

Certainly not us when you look at this fab photo of some of the stock Vintage Gisele will be bringing to Wanstead on 6 September.  Ready for a cruise or late summer holiday then this is the perfect opportunity for you to pick up a wonderful vintage swimsuit or hat and basket – very Jackie O!

JBD London are bringing their superb collection of vintage jewellery and tiaras predominantly from the 1900-50s. Perfect for any wedding or party or just because its so divine you can’t not buy it!

New to the fair and bringing her wonderful scarf and accessories collection is Carin Wright – her scarves span the decades and include some lovely silk Liberty prints. Scarves are making a big come back and have been seen all over the A/W 2014 catwalks. Just add a scarf clip and you can tie your scarf in a myriad of ways.

Did you spot those gorgeous Chanel shoes that we tweeted? Coming to the fair with Mel from Vintage Glitz n Bitz  who is also bringing a lovely selection of 1920’s-1950’s dresses like these lovelies.

Nicole is bringing a very eye-catching array of vintage jewellery including these fabulous mostly 1950s Norwegian enamel and silver brooches – with a few older English pieces!

And look at the stunning beadwork on this 1950’s dress – coming to the fair with Razzle Dazzle Vintage who specialise in all things 1950s – they won the Best Dressed Stall at the last fair in June.

If you fancy some ephemera, cards, books or retro homewares be sure to stop ‘buy’ at Frances & David’s stall. I’m forever shopping here! They are bringing this great 1970s bedspread and the gents must form an orderly queue for the 7 day set of tie tacs! You’ll be the talk of the office!

Alison will be returning with her gorgeous vintage designer wardrobe – this super orange Courreges will probably be snapped up very quickly!

There will also be a wonderful selection of Vintage Handbags, Art deco jewellery, ephemera, books, furniture, designer glass and pottery, Brocante, buttons and haberdashery, menswear, shoes and a warm and welcoming friendly atmosphere.

Terms & conditions of Trading

  • The Church and hall will be open from 8.00am on the Fair day for unloading of stock and setting up
  • Stallholders must be set up by 10.00am
  • Stalls that have been approved and booked cannot be shared /sold with/to a completely different dealer
  • All electrical items for sale or in use must be PAT tested
  • Highly flammable substances shall not be brought into or used in any part of the premises
  • No unauthorised heating appliances shall be used on the premises
  • No intoxicating liquors are permitted to be bought, sold or consumed on any part of the premises
  • Food is not permitted to be sold on any stalls
  • Cutlery may be sold, however sharp knives of any sort are not permitted
  • Tables must be fully covered with a cloth to the ground to hide any packing boxes and other items not for sale
  • Please do not affix anything to walls /doors or church property
  • Stallholders must not obstruct doorways, hallways and fire exits with tables or rails
  • Rails must not be longer than 6ft in length
  • The fair closes at 4.30 pm – stallholders should not dismantle their stall until closing time or leave the fair early. All stallholders must be clear of the halls by 6.00 pm
  • Stallholders are responsible for removing ALL their rubbish from the venue once the fair is closed
  • The organisers will bear no liability whatsoever for safety of stock, money, persons or possessions while travelling to, from or during the event
  • Stallholders are required to carry their own public liability insurance and must provide a copy to be held on file
  • As this is a vintage event with a dateline up to the 1990s, all goods for sale must be genuine vintage items. Sale of counterfeit items is strictly prohibited. The occasional sale of a more modern exclusive designer piece (e.g. Dior, Chanel) to offset a vintage item is permitted
  • Clothes must be clean and well presented
  • The venue is strictly no smoking, and the use of lit candles is prohibited
  • The positioning of Stallholders at the event is at the absolute discretion of the organisers
  • The placement of your stall may be subject to change and we cannot guarantee that you are in the same spot each time you sell at the fair
  • The organisers of the Wanstead Vintage Fair shall be under no liability for delay or failure to provide the services as a result of any act or circumstances beyond reasonable control including but not limited to, Act of God, legislation, injury, war, terrorism, fire, failure of power supply, strike, lock out or bad weather conditions
  • PLEASE NOTE: If a Trader cancels space, for any reason, all fees paid will be forfeited except under exceptional circumstances and at the discretion of the organiser
